ems_notify_wait_
timeout
Specifies the number of seconds
to allow the host to process
commands before VTS expects
to prompt for another command.
Typically, this should be 2-3
seconds but it causes no harm to
allow more time for the host.

Specifies the number of seconds
to wait after issuing the
LOGOUT command and before
closing the socket connection.
Default value: 3

ems_keep_alive Enables VTS to send periodic
EMS messages to the host so
that the Telnet session does not
time out. When enabled, EMS
filtering on the host can be
increased because VTS stays
alive.
