Virtual TapeServer 6.04.03 for NonStop Servers Release Notes
Resolved Issues and Enhancements | 6
Files may have accumulated in /var/spool/clientmqueue, possibly filling up the
file system. Mail generated on the local system was stored in /var/spool/clientmqueue
until sendmail or other mail transfer agent picks it up for delivery. Logwatch no longer
generates email output for delivery to root. (TL-865, EAR 3395)
Web interface
PHP error messages were in Apache error_log. Error messages may have been listed
in /var/log/httpd/error_log when a VTD was created or modified. This no longer occurs.
(TL-3126)
Backup to All button was removed after clicking Add One link. When adding key
database backup and restore hosts, selecting the Add One link and then selecting the link
again without adding data or pressing Cancel brought back the Restore from Disaster
Recovery site button and the Add New Host button. However, the Backup to All button
was missing. It is not until the user selected Add one again and then selected Cancel that
the Backup to All button was restored. This has been fixed. (TL-3083)
Two virtual devices could be created though different BTLIs were shown. When
the BTLI value was changed on the Manage System Limits page, it was possible to create
two virtual devices that represented the same device, though the web interface showed
different BTLIs. This has been fixed. (TL-3100)
Incorrect message displayed when revision update failed. The web interface stated
“Return to Administrative Functions” instead of “Return to Supervisor Functions” when a
VTS revision update failed. This has been fixed. (TL-3146)
Username and password remained displayed in fields on Manage Passwords
page after switching services. When switching between services on the Manage
Passwords page, the last values that were entered were still displayed in the user and
password fields. This no longer occurs. (TL-3157)
Could not download the System Message logs by clicking the Download link. If
you selected Supervisor Functions ->Examine System Logs and then clicked the
Download link, the logs were not downloaded. This has been fixed. (TL-3213, TL-2359)
Errors logged to Apache error_log file when Apply or Revert Revision Update or
Access Control page was accessed. If you accessed the Apply Revision Update, Revert
Revision Update page, or Access Control page, an error was logged in Apache’s error_log
file stating that a file was missing. You may also have seen the message in the logwatch
summary. The standard.css and standard.js files were incorrectly referenced by the web
interface in the html/admin directory. This has been fixed. (TL-3194)
Read-only cartridge was mounted as read-write. When mounting a read-only
cartridge, the web interface displayed it as read-write. This was a display issue only and
has been fixed. (TL-2540, EAR 4726)
@secure and other non-cartridge files were displayed in the interface. When a
new pool was created and the 'Encrypted' option was selected, '@secure' was listed as one
of the cartridges as well as other non-cartridge files. This was not a cartridge and could
not perform any cartridge actions such as delete and erase on it. This has been fixed. (TL-
2341)
