 Cannot edit VTD named “0”. If you create a VTD named “0”, you cannot edit the VTD,
though you can delete it. The following error message is displayed. (TL-3721)
The name 0 is already in use by virtual 0 51314695
 RMDR link is available after downgrade to 6.04.02 or 6.04.01. The RMDR link is
present on the System Status page after a downgrade, which is not supported in this
version of VTS. (TL-3878)
 VTD names and serial numbers should not be case-sensitive. When creating VTDs,
the web interface checks the case of the specified VTD name and serial number. However,
VTD names and serial numbers are not case-sensitive on the host server. For example,
you can create VTAPE01 and vtape01 on the VTS server, but the host server only sees
VTAPE01. (TL-3212)
WORKAROUND: Do not specify VTD names or serial numbers that have the same
combination of letters, no matter the case.
 List of cartridges is incorrect if duplicates exist on the system. After an import,
the list of cartridges displayed on the user interface may not match the list of cartridges
on the file system. This occurs if there are duplicate pools or cartridges. (TL-3170)
 Message on Manage System Licenses page implies that key was saved when it
was not. On the Manage System Licenses page, if you select the Update checkbox, paste
a license key in the License Key field, and then deselect the Update checkbox, a message
is displayed indicating that the license key is already present. The message is displayed
even though the key has not been saved. (TL-3175)
WORKAROUND: Navigate away from and back to the page.
 Page loads slowly if expanded pool contains many cartridges. If you view or
refresh the Virtual Media page and a pool that contains many cartridges is expanded, the
web interface is very slow to display the page. If there is cartridge activity (backup,
export, copy, and so on), the page may take up to four minutes to load. (TL-3011, TL-3012)
 Change Group option not available after adding new user and group. After
adding a new user and group, you must deselect the new user in the Users drop-down list
and then select it again to get the “Change Group” option to appear. (TL-3278)
 Window button on Virtual Media page does not scroll when using Firefox. The
Window button on the Virtual Media page should scroll with the page but instead locks in
place when the page is scrolled up or down.This seems to only happen with Firefox 3.0.11.

 Log In and Log Out buttons do not function for new user in closed system. If VTS
is configured for closed access and you create a new user, the Log In/Log Out button does
not function. It always states Log In. (TL-3310)
 Options on Cartridge Maintenance page are misaligned. On the Virtual Media -
Cartridge Maintenance page, the Pool and Cartridges checkboxes shift to the right of the
page when you select a pool with multiple cartridges in it, and select and then unselect
the Multiple Select check box. (TL-3380)
 Mounts and locks page displays incorrect date for current locks. Current locks on
pools and cartridges are displayed on the mounts and locks page. The date/time column of
the current lock table shows Dec 31 18:00:00 1969. (TL-3429)
 TapeService and EMS service can be stopped and started by user who is not
logged in. If the user does not log in, the user can access the TapeService and EMS links
on the Supervisory Functions page. (TL-3440)
