Support
Call the HP Global Critical Solution Center (GCSC) for support. For the fastest possible
resolution, have the following information available:
• Your company’s name
• Virtual TapeServer hardware platform
• Serial number of your equipment
• Hardware configuration
• Software configuration
• System number of the host server
• The “Software version” value, including the date created, from the System Status page on
the VTS web interface
• A detailed description of the problem you are having with the equipment
• Your name, telephone number, email address, and company address
You may also consider gathering the output of the getVTS_dbginfo utility, which is provided
on the VTS server, or you can generate a troubleshooting package from the web interface. The
utility and troubleshooting package collects log files and system information. Refer to
Troubleshooting on page 125 for more information.
