 Login path for CommVault 8 set to /opt/galaxy/Base/qlogin. The path should be set
to /opt/simpana/Base. (TL-5707)
WORKAROUND: Use the following commands as root:
mkdir /opt/galaxy
ln -s /opt/simpana/Base /opt/galaxy/Base
 Utilities do not support X11 forwarding. If X11 forwarding is enabled in the
configuration of the SSH putty session, netconfig commands will fail. (TL-5702)
 Unmigrating encrypted pool fails. After migrating an encrypted pool, the Unmigrate
button on the Configure Tapes and Pools page does not successfully unmigrate the pool.

WORKAROUND: Unmigrate the cartridges individually.
 Stacked export fails to erase cartridge after export if
hsm_erase_after_backup=”YES”. If the hsm_erase_after_backup parameter is set to
“YES” in vts.conf, the stacked export operation will not erase the cartridge. (TL-4804)
 erase_when_complete parameter needed for the Stacked Export job
configuration. This flag will be used to determine if the exported cartridges should be
erased. Existing jobs won't have the flag and will be executed without erase. (TL-4854)
 Stacked exports do not work with SDLT VTLs. The drives are not associated with
the library. (TL-4669)
 Default vts.conf file does not include migrate_all parameter. This parameter can
be set to allow all cartridges, including empty ones, to be migrated. This parameter is not
present in the default configuration file. (TL-3950)
 Cartridge not ejected after migration by Legato. After migration is completed, the
cartridge should be ejected and put back in the tape slot. If Legato is used to migrate the
tape, the tape is not ejected as expected. (TL-2390)
 Misconfigured migration settings cause “Error: Can't find any files with data to
backup” error. If you do not specify a BMA in vts.conf, or if you misconfigure a
migration setting, the “Error: Can't find any files with data to backup message is
displayed, which does not indicate the problem. (TL-2645)
 Error, miscellaneous messages logged after successful NetBackup migration.
Message similar to the following are logged in the debug log after a successful migration
with NetBackup 6.5:

These messages are benign and can be ignored. (TL-2347)
 The hsm_summary_limit configuration parameter is not used. This parameter
should not be used. (TL-2272)
 Unable to unmigrate a pool. You cannot unmigrate the cartridges in a pool by selecting
the pool; you must select individual cartridges. (TL-386)
