Parameter Description Values

virtual tapes will not be scheduled for
erasure. To make the display smaller and
simpler, the NO rows are suppressed. When
this parameter is set to NO, a small button
is shown that permits the user to
temporarily override this parameter and
show the NO rows.
Default value: NO
cleanup_show_erase_
column
Shows or hides the Erase meta data column
in the Status Table. The date of the last
erasure may not be important to a
particular installation of VTS. However, this
information may easily be viewed by
enabling this feature.
Default value: NO
YES or NO
cleanup_show_size_
column
Shows or hides the Size column in the Status
Table.
Default value: NO
YES or NO
meta_control_panel Shows or hides the Meta Data Control Panel,
which enables you to read and write
metadata on the virtual tape. Set this
parameter only if diagnosing problems or
instructed to do so by Support.
Default value: NO
