Parameter Description Values

Default value: NO
YES or NO
cleanup_show_erase_
control_files
Displays Scan/Cleanup files that are used to
implement the Scan/Cleanup erasure
process. This is typically set to NO and may
be enabled to help diagnose a system

Default value: NO
YES or NO
cleanup_minimum_size_
GB
and
cleanup_minimum_size_
MB
Define which files to ignore based on size by
using either cleanup_minimum_size_MB or
cleanup_minimum_size_GB. The specified
value is used to set the minimum file size to
erase. Some installations have many small
virtual tapes and do not require that they be
erased. For larger tape sizes, use the
cleanup_minimum_size_GB parameter; for
smaller sizes, use the cleanup_minimum_
size_MB parameter. A typical setting for the
cleanup_minimum_size_GB parameter is 8,
which specifies not to erase virtual tapes
with less than 8GB of data.
(To disable Scan/Cleanup so that no
cartridges are erased, set cleanup_
enable="NO".)
Default value: 0 (for both parameters)
