Chapter 6: Using Visual Manager

This menu allows for setup of security options.

Security settings include the User Name and Password. The user name and password should be
unique and kept confidential. It is recommended to use a combination of letters and numbers when
creating user names and passwords. For the password, enter the password in the Confirm Password
field to help ensure there are no typos made in the password. Then, select the Submit button to
activate the user name and password you have setup.
The default settings are ‘root’ for the user name and ‘password’ for the password.
Note: The security settings entered here affect all user interfaces of the VT5900-SA after reboot
of the VT5900-SA.
