Chapter 6: Using Visual Manager
Main Menu → System → Reset to Factory Defaults
This menu allows the VT5900-SA to be reset to the factory default settings.

When this option is selected, a confirmation message will appear to verify the selection. If a
response of Ye s is given to the confirmation message, current VT5900-SA activities will be dis
-
rupted while the unit resets the current configuration to the factory defaults and saves those options
to FLASH memory as the current configuration.
Note: Resetting to factory defaults from the HTTP interface will not affect ethernet
connectivity. User configured values for the IP address, gateway, and subnet mask, and as well
the user name and password are retained after the VT5900-SA resets.
