Install the Appearance-Side Door

5. Install the service-side door on the enclosure:

a. With both hands, lift the door into position against the adapter frame.

b. Align the hinge pins on the door with the holes in the enclosure bracket.

c. Insert the top (long) hinge pin first, then insert the bottom hinge pin.

d. Lower the door and engage the hinges.

e. Close the door to check that it is correctly installed.

6. Install the group ID label on the door:

a. Remove the faceplate by squeezing its top and bottom surfaces to disengage

the locking tabs.

b. Select the correct group ID label for this enclosure from the labels provided.

c. Insert the label into the faceplate and reinstall the faceplate on the door.

Install the Appearance-Side Door

1. Remove and discard both the existing appearance-side door and the power shelf

front panel from the appearance side of the enclosure.

2. Install the appearance-side door on the enclosure:

a. With both hands, lift the door into position against the enclosure.

b. Align the hinge pins on the door with the holes in the enclosure bracket.

c. Insert the top (long) hinge pin first, then insert the bottom hinge pin.

d. Lower the door and engage the hinges.

e. Close the door to check that it is correctly installed.

3. Install the group ID label on the door:

a. Remove the faceplate by squeezing its top and bottom surfaces to disengage

the locking tabs.

b. Select the correct group ID label for this enclosure from the labels provided.

c. Insert the label into the faceplate and reinstall the faceplate on the door.

Install the Side Panels

1. For each enclosure, you need the following items from a 7285 full-upgrade kit:

2 side panels

2 large brackets

2 small brackets

8 0.375-inch Phillips self-tapping screws

2. On the side of the enclosure where you are installing a side panel, install the

brackets:

a. Position one large bracket at the top of the enclosure side and center it

between front and back.
