STOP Command

STOP Command
This command halts the operations of a WAN manager object by setting the object
state to the STOPPED state.
The STOP commands are:
STOP ADAPTER
STOP DEVICE on page 5-83
STOP PATH on page 5-83
STOP PROCESS on page 5-84
STOP SERVER on page 5-85
STOP TASK on page 5-86
STOP ADAPTER
This command prevents the use of all three CLIPs on a SWAN concentrator. You can
also use the OSM Service Connection or the TSM Service Application. For more
information on using OSM or TSM, refer to the online help within each application.
The STOP ADAPTER command places the ADAPTER object in the STOPPED state,
preventing further use of the CLIPs on the SWAN concentrator. The subordinate
