SWAN Concentrator Configuration-Planning Forms
These fields are information you will need for the ADD DEVICE command:
CLIP 1 Line 0 To configure each DEVICE object, you need this information:
1. Record the CLIP number and WAN line the DEVICE will
use (CLIP clip-num and LINE line-num).
2. Record the path the DEVICE will prefer to use
(PATH { A | B }).
3. Record the processor and alternate processor the
DEVICE will run in (CPU cpu-num and
ALTCPU alt-cpu-num).
Record the PROFILE object the device will use (PROFILE
existing-profile-name).
OR:
Record the name of another DEVICE object that this
DEVICE will be patterned after
(PROFILE LIKE #existing-device-name).
4. Record the HP part or model number, or type of interface
converter cable, that will be connected to the WAN port:
RS-232 interface converter cable DB-25, model
number SWAC 32
RS-449 interface converter cable DB-37, model
number SWAC 49
V.35 interface converter cable ISO 2593-1973, model
number SWAC 35
X.21 interface converter cable DB-15, model number
SWAC 80
