Objects
cpu-num
indicates the processor in which the ConMgr process is to run. Possible values are
0 through n. For more information about creating ConMgr process names, see HP
Manufacturing Naming Conventions (G06.26 and Earlier RVUs) on page 1-3 or HP
Manufacturing Naming Conventions (G06.27 and Later RVUs and H06.03 and
Later RVUs) on page 1-7.
Configuring and Starting the SWAN Concentrator Objects
You must configure and start one ADAPTER object, three SERVER objects, and six
PATH objects for a SWAN concentrator or one ADAPTER object, six SERVER objects,
and twelve PATH objects for a SWAN 2 concentrator. Note that the SUB ALL option in
the START ADAPTER command places the TASK objects in the started state, as
required.
Configuring the ADAPTER Object
You must add one ADAPTER object to define the SWAN concentrator to the
configuration database
.
conc-name
indicates the name of the SWAN concentrator. The name should be in the form
#Snn as described in HP Manufacturing Naming Conventions (G06.27 and Later
RVUs and H06.03 and Later RVUs) on page 1-7 or HP Manufacturing Naming
Conventions (G06.27 and Later RVUs and H06.03 and Later RVUs) on page 1-7.
"configuration-track-id"
uniquely identifies the SWAN concentrator. The configuration track-ID is assigned
when the SWAN concentrator is manufactured and is stored in the SWAN
concentrator FRU Information Record (FIR). A label identifying the configuration
