DELETE Command
The WAN manager process resolves the subvolume using this algorithm:
1. First, the WAN manager process checks for the file in the current
SYSnn/CSSnn.
2. If the file does not exist in the current SYSnn/CSSnn, then the WAN manager
process checks for the file in the SYSTEM subvolume.
3. If the file does not exist in the SYSTEM subvolume, then the WAN manager
process checks for the file in the specified subvolume.
4. If the file does not exist in any of these subvolumes, an error is generated and
the WAN manager process does not exit.
5. If the file was located in one of the subvolumes, the WAN manager process
configures the object with the file resolved and saves the resolved subvolume
in the system CONFIG database.
6. The WAN manager process applies this algorithm, while accepting SCF ADD
and ALTER commands and during the coldload of the system (and restart of
WANMGR). This ensures the files are taken from the current SYSnn/CSSnn or
SYSTEM subvolumes.
•

Use the DELETE ADAPTER command to remove the definition of a SWAN
concentrator from the configuration database.
The DELETE ADAPTER command has this syntax:
Note. This algorithm applies only if the volume is a system disk (usually $SYSTEM).
