Considerations
•
The subordinate PATH and TASK objects must first be placed in the STOPPED
state, or the STOP SERVER command is rejected.
•
The state of the SERVER indicates whether the CLIP is being controlled by this
system.
•
After a STOP SERVER command is issued, the WANBoot process does not
respond to BOOTP requests from the CLIP.
•
After a STOP SERVER command is issued, you can do a firmware update through
the OSM Service Connection or the TSM Service Application (G-series RVUs
only).
Value: The SERVER name is the name of the SWAN concentrator, fol-
lowed by the CLIP number.
conc-name is the name of the SWAN concentrator as specified in
the ADD ADAPTER command.
clip-num is the CLIP number. The possible values for the CLIP
number are 1, 2, or 3 for a SWAN concentrator and 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, or
6 for a SWAN 2 concentrator.
Default: None provided.
Wild card: You can use the asterisk (*) to specify all configured SERVER
objects.
