Determining the Initial Configuration of a SWAN
Concentrator
Determining the Initial Configuration of a SWAN Concentrator
HP manufacturing configures all SWAN concentrators ordered with a NonStop server.
An example of a SWAN concentrator configuration is shown in the following illustration.
This illustration shows the following configuration for the SWAN concentrator named
$ZZWAN.#S01:
•
Ethernet port A is connected to PIF A on the G4SA named G11123. PIF A is
identified by logical interface (LIF) L11123A, which uses a SUBNET on the TCP/IP
process named $ZTC0 in processor 0.
•
Ethernet port B is connected to PIF A on the G4SA named G11124. PIF A is
identified by LIF L11124A. which uses a SUBNET on the TCP/IP process named
$ZTC1 in processor 1.
Note. A LIF is a logical abstraction of a physical port on a LAN adapter.
