Starting a WAN Subsystem Object
Starting an ADAPTER Object
If an ADAPTER object is not in the STARTED state, use the SCF START command to
start it and all of its subordinate objects (SERVER, PATH, and TASK). The command
syntax is:
conc_name
is the name of the SWAN concentrator (ADAPTER object) you want to start.
Starting a SERVER Object
If a SERVER object is not in the STARTED state, use the SCF START SERVER
command to start it. The command syntax is:
conc_name.clip_num
is the name of the SERVER object (CLIP) you want to start.
Starting a PATH Object
If a PATH object is not in the STARTED state, use the SCF START PATH command to
start it. The command syntax is:
conc_name.clip_num.path_name
is the name of the PATH object you want to start.
Starting a TASK Object
If a TASK object is not in the STARTED state, use the SCF START TASK command to
start it. The command syntax is:
conc_name.clip_num.dlc_task
is the name of the TASK object you want to start.
START ADAPTER $ZZWAN.#conc_name, SUB ALL
START SERVER $ZZWAN.#conc_name.clip_num
START PATH $ZZWAN.#conc_name.clip_num.path_name
START TASK $ZZWAN.#conc_name.clip_num.dlc_task
