icons are the FTP and Search (Find File/Process) icons. These can be used to access FTP functions and to search for
files/processes on the NonStop host.
Settings:In the TE Settings screen, for Guardian logon, user is provided with a feature called “Prompt string”. This
field comes in handy for services that don't come back with the same name (as the service) at the prompt.
For example, consider a service “SAFE” that is configured with SAFEGUARD. When this service is selected via
Telnet, it comes back with a prompt "login:”. Hence in this case the Prompt response field should be "login:" in the
settings screen. If the field is left blank, then the service name is used.
A block mode and secure Terminal Emulator can be integrated with Web ViewPoint. Please refer to
Section 6.5 for
more details.
5.3.5 HELP
Web ViewPoint provides extensive on-line help to the user. Every function provides a link to the particular section
of the User Manual that is relevant to the function being performed. Clicking the icon on the upper right-hand
corner will open the Help dropdown list per Menu item. The list has “Navigation” for general product study. The
list then has menu specific ‘Bookmarks’ for product study that’s specific to the screen the user is on. This includes
settings screens.
5.3.6 CHANGE GUARDIAN/SAFEGUARD PASSWORD
This feature allows a user to change their Nonstop user account (i.e. GUARDIAN/SAFEGUARD ID) password as
shown below.
