there are too many columns to display, this automatically changes where token values for each individual
message are displayed in a token per line format. You also have the option of displaying the content in a CSV
(Comma Separated Value) format.
Each Token has a sequence number. This is also a link when you can see values for all tokens of that specific
message. This is useful when you had previously chosen not to display all tokens, but are interested to know
more detail about this specific message.
There is also an icon next to each sequence number. A click on this icon displays a Window with Cause,
Effect, and Recovery text for this specific message where available. BAM (Business Application Manual) is
consulted first, and Operator Messages Manual (EVENTTX) is consulted next, if no data is available in BAM.
Should a BAM entry be displayed, a link is also provided to retrieve (where available) additional information
from the Operator Messages Manual.
There are two control buttons of ‘Next’ and ‘Prev’ at the bottom of this Window. These allow you to move
forward or backward in time to retrieve additional messages. All preset conditions continue to apply. There is
also a checkbox where you can request that the Next/Previous set of data be displayed in a new Window.
A statistical area on the bottom left of the screen gives count of all messages based on their importance
category.

5.5.6 LOG BROWSER
This feature opens a Window where you can view VHS (Virtual Home terminal System) messages sent to the VHS
primary log file. (NOTE: To enable this option in the menu bar, set PARAM SHOWENHANCED YES in the WEBVPT5
section of WVPCONF). You can control the type and scope of the messages that get displayed based on a set of
criteria you define in the Setting Window. Following is a description of the available options on the Setting
Window.
5.5.6.1 LOG BROWSER SETTINGS PAGE
A. VHS Environment: Select from the list of available VHS environments in the log file. This list is determined
from the previously learnt environments and the server startup file used by Web ViewPoint.
B. Learn VHS: Existing VHS environments on the node on which Web ViewPoint is running can be learnt. Web
ViewPoint looks for processes of the VHS program file. The environment names learnt are the names of the
