C. Toolbar Functions: The following icons on the toolbar are used for miscellaneous operations. These icons are
available when a list is displayed.
Print: this opens the default windows print dialog and prints the information table currently being viewed.
Export to Excel: This opens an instance of Microsoft Excel and populates a spread sheet of a new 'book'
with the information table currently being viewed.
The toolbar provides additional operations that can be performed on the directory. Click on the file
create icon and directory create icon to create new files or directories in the currently
selected directory. Click on the Up Folder icon
to view the contents of the parent directory. Click on
the refresh icon to reload directory contents. Click on the stop icon to stopthe loading of directory
contents.

5.7 USING OTHER FEATURES
5.7.1 MESSAGE CENTER PC COMPONENT
The PC Component is an optional feature. It is required only for speaking out notifications (text to speech) in the
admin section. Please refer to
Section 2.7.7 on params for MSMGR objects and MC System Settings.
Makes possible the delivery of notifications via different media like Email, SMS.
 Responsible for speaking out the notifications at the admin section.
 Provides an interface to manage notifications that are sent out. EMS events corresponding to the notifications
can also be ACKed.
5.7.1.1 MAIN SCREEN
View / Information: It displays the messages that have been received from the Server and processed by the
Desktop Component.
 Ack icon: Indicates that the EMS event corresponding to the notification can be acknowledged by clicking on
the (A) icon. (Notepad) icon indicates that the EMS event corresponding to the notification has already been
acknowledged. To view the acknowledgement information, click on the (Notepad) icon.
