First and the for most thing, always open the Internet explorer in administrator mode i.e. right click on the IE icon
and click on “Run as Administrator mode”.
Then you will need to set an additional setting in your java control panel. Please follow the instructions below to
make changes to your java settings:
1. Goto ‘control panel’
2. Click on ‘java’
3. Go to ‘Advanced tab’ and scroll down to ‘Enable the next-gen Java plugin’. By default this option will be checked.
You will need to uncheck the option and click on ‘apply’.
4. Now, restart the browser for the changes to take place.

5.7.4 STOPPING WEB VIEWPOINT
Web ViewPoint can be stopped using the stopwvp obey file (obey stopwvp). In addition you may need to stop the
Object Manager Environment process. For each of the environments setup, the WCMX process and corresponding
SEEVIEW process will need to be stopped.
