connection on the PC used to access WVP the system will provide instructions on how to obtain a license via email.
This evaluation license expires after the evaluation period. Keep in mind an evaluation copy for a particular release
of Web ViewPoint can be installed only once on a particular system.
CUSTOMER LICENSE:
Once Web ViewPoint is activated, if there is an internet connection on the PC used to access WVP then the product
automatically issued a temporary license (usually multiple months). The system will periodically check for a new
license during this period, which usually starts when 60 days or less are remaining on the license. The license on
the web site is updated to match the type of license purchased by the customer as part of the processing of the
purchase agreement. The customer is granted one of the three different kinds of licenses: permanent license,
monthly license, license for a certain term. Monthly and term licenses require periodic renewal.
In both the cases (i.e. getting a new license or updating a license), if there is an internet connection then the
product automatically fetches and updates the license. If there is no internet connection, the system provides the
user with instructions on how to obtain and update their license via email.
If you experience license problems, you should contact GNSC immediately for assistance (you will need your
NonStop System Serial number and VPROC info).
