1. The HP NonStop Server Toolkit for BEA WebLogic Server 7.0 SP1 is an
Independent Product for HP NonStop servers. It is delivered on a single CD and is
not packaged as part of a full Operating System release.
The CD contains software representing three product numbers:
•
T2783 — the generic XA resource manager (XARM)
•
T2821 — WebLogic Server components for NonStop servers
•
T2822 — documentation for the WebLogic Server on NonStop servers
These products are packaged in the standard manner for OSS products, as in pax
files. Two types of files are contained in these pax files:
•
Files that are unique to the HP NonStop Server Toolkit for BEA WebLogic
Server.
•
Files that have the same name as files installed by the BEA WebLogic Server.
All such files are part of the Pet Store sample application. These files are
unpaxed with the suffix _HPNS. Before they are copied to the target filename,
the BEA forms of these files are preserved by adding the suffix _BEA.
Additionally, the install script modifies some files previously installed from a
supplemental jar file downloaded from the BEA web site. The original BEA forms of
the files are retained by adding the suffix _SUPP to their filenames.
2. Transfer files from the CD in the toolkit to the NonStop server by following the
instructions in the README.txt file on the CD. This produces a single OSS
directory on the NonStop server containing these files:
README.txt The latest information about this software at the
time it was packaged.
T2783PAX Packaged contents of T2783.
T2821PAX Packaged contents of T2821.
T2822PAX Packaged contents of T2822.

check-wls-hpns.sh Script that checks your NonStop server has the
prerequisite software.
install-nsxarm.sh The installation script for the XA resource
manager, T2783. The script includes rebuilding
the JVM. If you use install-wls-hpns.sh,
you do not need to run install-nsxarm.sh
separately.
