SWITCH Command
Operational Notes
•
SWITCH is a sensitive command.
•
The line controlled by the line-handler process must not be in the DIAGNOSING
summary state when this command is issued.
•
To determine which processor or CIU path is currently being used by a process,
use the STATUS command on the line controlled by the process.
•
No summary-state transition is associated with this command.
Error-Handling Notes
•
The error identified by the error number ZCOM-ERR-TKN-REQ is returned if
neither of the tokens ZCOM-TKN-SWITCH-CPU or ZCOM-TKN-SWITCH-PATH is
present in the command.
•
If the token ZCOM-TKN-SWITCH-PATH is present in the command and the line is
not a 6100 or 6105 X25AM line, the error identified by the error number ZCOM-
ERR-CMD-NOT-SUPP is returned.
•
If an attempt is made to switch a process controlling a line that is in the
DIAGNOSING summary state, the error identified by the error number ZCOM-
ERR-CMD-INV-IN-SUMSTATE is returned.
