Token Types
The token types used by the X25AM subsystem are represented by symbolic names of
the form subsys-TYP- name, where subsys is a four-character subsystem abbreviation
and name identifies the token type. For example, the token type ZSPI-TYP-CHAR50
represents a string of 50 ASCII characters. The X25AM subsystem does not define any
private token types; that is, no token types have names of the form ZX25-TYP- name.
Throughout this manual, when a simple token is described, its token type is given.
Predefined Value Names
The predefined values used by the X25AM subsystem are represented by symbolic
names of the form subsys-VAL- name, where subsys is a four-character subsystem
abbreviation and name identifies the predefined value. For example, the predefined
value ZCOM-VAL-SUMSTATE-STARTED represents the STARTED summary state.
Extensible Structured Tokens
Extensible structured tokens--tokens whose values are extensible structures--are
identified by token maps. The token maps for the extensible structured tokens used by
the X25AM subsystem are represented by symbolic names of the form subsys-MAP-
name, where subsys is a four-character subsystem abbreviation and name identifies
the token map. For example, the token map ZX25-MAP-STATS-LINE identifies an
extensible structured token that contains all the statistical information for one line.
All X25AM commands can contain extensible structured tokens. The responses to the
following X25AM commands can also contain extensible structured tokens:
Extensible structured tokens do not appear in any event message issued by the
X25AM subsystem.
Throughout this manual, when an extensible structured token is described, its DDL
definition, including the definitions and types of all fields, is also given.
The predefined field values used by the X25AM subsystem are represented by
symbolic names of the form subsys-VAL- name, where subsys is a four-character
subsystem abbreviation and name identifies the predefined value.
A table of all the token maps defined by the X25AM subsystem (token maps with
names of the form ZX25-MAP- name) can be found in Section B, Token Codes and
Token Maps.
Field Types
The field types used by the X25AM subsystem are represented by symbolic names of
the form Z sss-DDL- name, where sss is a three-character subsystem abbreviation and
