ALTER LINE Command
ZCONV-PAD-CNT
specifies the number of parameter pairs that appear in the field ZCONV-PAD-
PARAMS. This field can be assigned a value in the range 0 through 63, or the
value -1. If the value is 0, it indicates that the conversational-mode PAD
parameters are not to be altered. The value -1 must be used to clear all
explicitly specified conversational-mode PAD parameters. This field has no
corresponding SYSGEN modifier.
ZCONV-PAD-PARAMS
consists of from 0 through 63 pairs of integers that specify the conversational-
mode X.29 PAD parameters. The number of integer pairs in this field is given
by the value of the field ZCONV-PAD-CNT. Specifying a PAD parameter
overrides the normal setting for that parameter for all frames. If a PAD
parameter requires modification by the X25AM subsystem, bit 0 of the first
integer of the pair must be set equal to 1. PAD parameters are valid only if the
subdevice protocol is ITI. This field has no corresponding SYSGEN modifier.
ZCUG
specifies the closed user group (CUG) identification to be sent in every call-
request packet. This value establishes a default value that is used when the
CUG identification attribute of a subdevice is not specified. This field can be
assigned a value in the range 0 through 9999, or the value -1. The value -1
must be used to clear an explicitly specified CUG identification. This field
corresponds to the SYSGEN modifier CUG. The value depends on the value of
CUGTYPE (see ZCUG-TYPE on page 6-34).
ZDEBUG
indicates whether or not debugging of the Communications Line Interface
Processor (CLIP) software is enabled. This field is valid only for 6100 or 6105
X25AM lines, and it can have the following values:
This field is intended for HP use only and should not be assigned a value in an
application. This field has no corresponding SYSGEN modifier.
ZDSR-TIMEOUT
specifies the time interval that the CLIP will wait for the Data Set Ready (DSR)
signal from the modem. If the CLIP does not receive the DSR signal within that
time, it informs the line-handler process that it did not detect DSR.
This field corresponds to the SYSGEN modifier DSRTIMER.
ZSPI-VAL-TRUE Debugging of the CLIP software is enabled.
ZSPI-VAL-FALSE Debugging of the CLIP software is disabled.
