ALTER LINE Command
ZEXT-CALL-FORMAT
specifies whether or not the reception of larger-than-normal packets using the
fast-select feature is enabled. This field can be assigned the following values:
Reception of larger-than-normal packets is disabled by default.
ZFRAME-MODE
specifies whether the station is Data Circuit-terminating Equipment (DCE) or
Data Terminal Equipment (DTE). This field can be assigned the following
values:
ZIDLE-TIMEOUT
specifies the time interval to wait before transmitting level-2 Receive Ready
(RR). This field can be assigned a value in the range .00 through 5:27.67. This
field corresponds to the SYSGEN modifier L2IDLETIMEOUT.
ZINTRF
specifies the electrical interface of the controller. This field can be assigned the
following values:
ZL3-MOD
specifies whether the modulus for the packet counters is 8 or 128. This field
can be assigned the following values:
The modulus for packet counters is 8 by default. This field corresponds to the
SYSGEN modifier L3MODULUS.
ZSPI-VAL-TRUE The reception of larger-than-normal packets is enabled.
This value corresponds to the SYSGEN modifier
EXTFORMAT. The packet size must be greater than or
equal to 256.
ZSPI-VAL-FALSE The reception of larger-than-normal packets is disabled.
This value corresponds to the SYSGEN modifier
NOEXTFORMAT.
ZX25-VAL-FRAME-MODE-DCE The station is DCE. This value corresponds to
the SYSGEN modifier DCE.
ZX25-VAL-FRAME-MODE-DTE The station is DTE. This value corresponds to
the SYSGEN modifier DTE.
ZX25-VAL-INTRF-RS232 The electrical interface is RS-232. This value
corresponds to the SYSGEN modifier RS232.
ZX25-VAL-INTRF-RS422 The electrical interface is RS-422. This value
corresponds to the SYSGEN modifier RS422.
ZSPI-VAL-TRUE The modulus for packet counters is 128.
ZSPI-VAL-FALSE The modulus for packet counters is 8.
