ALTER SUBDEVICE Command
ZNULL-FILL
specifies whether or not the X25AM subsystem will send the string "EOT NUL"
to set a terminal into block mode or conversational mode. This token can be
assigned the following values:
These two characters are "EOT PAD" by default. If the subdevice is a 6530
terminal with A-level or B-level microcode, the characters are "EOT NUL". This
field is valid only if the protocol is ITI.
ZPARITY
specifies the type of parity generated for data characters transmitted. This field
can be assigned the following values:
By default, parity is not generated. This field is valid only if the protocol is ITI.
ZPARITY-CHECK
specifies whether or not parity checking is enabled. This field can be assigned
the following values:
Parity checking is disabled by default. If enabled, parity checking is performed
as specified by the value of the field ZPARITY. This field is valid only if the
protocol is ITI.
ZPORT
specifies the logical port number to be used by the subdevice. This field can be
assigned a value in the range 0 through 9999; the default value is 0.
ZPRI-CALL
specifies whether or not the capability of making priority calls is enabled. This
field can be assigned the following values:
ZSPI-VAL-TRUE The first two characters in the five-character sequence
that sets a terminal into block or conversational mode are
"EOT NUL" (hex "0400").
ZSPI-VAL-FALSE The first two characters in the five-character sequence
that sets a terminal into block or conversational mode are
"EOT PAD" (hex "04FF").
ZX25-VAL-PARITY-EVEN Even parity is generated.
ZX25-VAL-PARITY-NONE Parity is not generated.
ZX25-VAL-PARITY-ODD Odd parity is generated.
ZSPI-VAL-TRUE Parity checking is enabled.
ZSPI-VAL-FALSE Parity checking is disabled.
ZSPI-VAL-TRUE The capability of making priority calls is enabled.
ZSPI-VAL-FALSE The capability of making priority calls is disabled.
