Procedures Summary for X25AM
This appendix contains descriptions of the procedures you use to perform specific
X25AM programming tasks. The procedures consist of:
CONTROL Statements
These are the X25AM CONTROL statements.
CONTROL 11
An Incoming Call is received and a Call Accepted sent. If the operation completes
normally, then the call has been connected.
CONTROL 12
Clear the connection. For PTP, issue a Clear Request, for ITI issue an Invitation to
Clear. If the operation completes normally, then the call has been disconnected.
CONTROL 17
A Call Request is sent and a network response received. If the CONTROL operation
completes normally, the call has been accepted.

Note. CONTROL procedures are only used with a switched virtual circuit (SVC). They are not
needed for a permanent virtual circuit (PVC) connection.
