DATAPAC Priority Call Facility
Request packet. Also, the extended format modifier must have been specified during
system configuration.
DATAPAC Priority Call Facility
If the network identifier specified for the line is DATAPAC, X25AM recognizes the
DATAPAC national facility for priority calls in incoming calls.
The priority call national facility is included in Call Request packets if the subdevice is
configured for priority calls. The priority calls value is a subdevice attribute (PRICALL).
TELENET Facilities for Flow-Control Negotiation
If the network identifier specified for the line is TELENET, X25AM uses TELENET
facilities instead of X.25 facilities to negotiate flow control parameters.
Window size and packet size negotiation are the same as specified in the preceding
paragraphs.
Bilateral Closed User Group (CUG) Facilities
X25AM ignores the bilateral CUG facility in an Incoming Call packet.
X25AM inserts the bilateral CUG facility in the Call Request packet if the subdevice is
configured with bilateral CUG. Otherwise, X25AM inserts the line bilateral CUG, if it is
configured, or uses the dynamic value determined by SETPARAM 34.
Recognized Private Operating Agency (RPOA) Facilities
X25AM inserts the RPOA facility in the Call Request packet if the subdevice is
configured with RPOA transit networks. Otherwise, X25AM inserts any line Data
Network Identification Codes (DNICs) that are configured.
The RPOA transit networks appear in the facility parameter field in the same order in
which they are entered.
Both the basic and extended format RPOA use SETPARAM 35. X25AM uses the basic
format RPOA facility when only one transit network is configured. When multiple transit
networks up to a maximum of six are configured, X25AM uses the extended format
RPOA facility. SETPARAM 35 sets or gets the RPOA dynamic value.
Transit Delay Selection and Indication Facility
X25AM inserts the transit delay facility in the Call Request packet if the subdevice is
configured with a transit delay value. Otherwise, X25AM inserts the line transit delay
value if it is configured.
X25AM updates the dynamic transit delay value with either:
•
The Call Connected transit delay value
