Chapter 7. XAC Auditing and Audit Reports
XYPRO Technology Corporation 76 Proprietary and Confidential
7.6 Interactive XAC_REPORTs
Ad-hoc reports can be obtained from the audit files by using the XAC-supplied report
macro. The report macro is named based on the name selected for invoking
XYGATEAC ACACL Command Entries. For example, if XAC was selected as the
TACL Macro to invoke XYGATEAC commands, the invocation for the ad-hoc report
macro would be XAC_REPORT. The report macro will allow you to select an audit trail
to report from, the date range, the user, and the ACACL Command Entry.
Syntax:
XAC_REPORT [-D]
The optional D switch causes the entire ENFORM run to be displayed. Without the
switch, only the final summary lines are displayed.
Note: Without the -D option, only the summary of the ENFORM report will be shown
unless errors occur in the ENFORM run. If an error occurs, the entire ENFORM
run will be displayed. If -D is specified, the entire ENFORM run will be displayed
even if there are no errors.
Example:
$SYSTEM.SECURITY 2> XAC_REPORT
Choose an option:
A: Audit file :$SYSTEM.XYGATEAC.AUDIT
