Limits on ACACL File Command Entries
Various keywords have limits on the number of times they can occur in an ACACL file.
The following list shows the keywords for which there are limits and the current limit.
Keyword Limit
COMMAND 2,000 Command Entries in an ACACL file.
ACLGROUP 200
ACL / VERIFYUSER / AUDITUSER Userid specification is limited to 32,767 users, with a
completely specified userid (PROD.OWNER)
counting as one entry, a wild-card userid (PROD.*)
counting as one entry, a completely specified
Safeguard alias (ALIAS:"Joe") counting as one entry
and a wild-card alias (ALIAS:"Oper-*") counting as
one entry. Network forms of all of the above also
count as one entry apiece.

Displaying ACACL File Size and Usage
The DBSO program can be used to display the size of a command. The STATS and
DSTATS commands (starting on page 51) to DBSO will display the overall and detail
statistics, respectively.
