Appendix D:  XAC Interactive 
Commands 
XAC has internal commands that may be invoked during a session by preceding the 
input with the string defined by the COMMANDESCAPE keyword in the ACCONF file. 
The following sections document these commands. 
INTERACTIVE COMMAND SUMMARY

COMMENT  Treat rest of line as comment 
CONFIG  Displays configuration info 
DUPOUTTOIN { ON | OFF }  Controls output echoing 
HELP  Print this help message 
FILES  Displays files on XAC internal subvolume 
LOCK  Prompts for invoking userid’s password 
LOG [<filename>]  Log session to file 
OBEY <filename>  Opens a file of commands and passes them one line at 
a time to the program currently executing. 
OUT [<filename>]  Changes output file 
PAGE { ON | OFF }  Control output paging 
PERCENT { ON | OFF }  Token pickup from command line 
RUN <object>  Run a program 
STOP  Stops XYGATEAC session 
VERSION  Display version information 
VOLUME  Changes the XAC internal subvolume 
X <ACACL Command Entry>  Execute another XYGATEAC ACACL Command Entry 
from within XYGATE 
XAC_AUDIT_COUNT <#>  For use with macros, this causes the next # lines to be 
written to the audit file 
XAC_CHANGE_VOLUME 
<volume/subvolume> 
For use with macros, this causes XYGATEAC’s internal 
volume/subvolume to be changed to the specified value
