Error Message  Description 
XAC – Command has syntax error in 
ACACL file 
The name of a command in the ACACL file must be less than or equal to 32 
characters. 
XAC – Command is not allowed 
<command> 
There is a syntax error in the text of this command in the ACACL file. 
XAC – Command not found  The command is not permitted because it has been prohibited using 
ALLOWCMD and DENYCMD. 
XAC – Could not complete I/O to DB 
server 
The specified command cannot be found in the ACACL Command Entry file.  
XAC – Could not initiate I/O to DB 
server 
Some error occurred on the I/O to the DB server. Please check $0 for error 
messages from the DB server. 
XAC – Could not open DB server  The DBSO database server could not be accessed. This can be caused 
when the system is especially busy – XYGATEAC will wait two minutes for 
DBSO to respond and if that period is exceeded, XYGATEAC will terminate 
with this error. Please retry the command. 
XAC – Database server could not be 
started 
An error occurred trying to open the database server (DBSO) using the 
name assigned to it when XYGATEAC was installed. Ensure that the 
database server process is executing the correct object file. 
XAC – Database server object 
filename wrong 
The DBSO database server could not be started. Check the system console 
($0) for messages from DBSO. 
XAC – DB server version mismatch  A check is done of the object file running with the name assigned to the 
database server at XYGATEAC installation. If the names do not match, this 
error is generated. 
XAC – Error #### opening 
<filename> 
The database server DBSO is at a different revision level than XYGATEAC. 
Ensure that both programs are at the same revision level. 
XAC – Error #### stopping <process 
name>, process will be left running 
The IN file could not be opened. 
This error will be written to the home terminal if possible and to the console if 
the RESTART keyword has been set on the command. 
XAC – Error ##### opening 
<filename> 
The process could not be stopped. The specified error occurred while trying 
to stop it. The process is still running. 
XAC – error ##### opening home 
terminal <filename> 
The OUT file could not be opened. 
This error will be written to the home terminal if possible and to the console if 
the RESTART keyword has been set on the command. 
XAC – Error ##### opening initial 
process 
The device named in <filename> cannot be opened. 
XAC – Error building EMS buffer in 
COMMANDAUDIT. 
XYGATEAC received the error specified opening the process XYGATEAC 
just started. 
XAC – Error building EMS message 
for AUDIT 
One of the command audit files defined for XYGATEAC is $0 with the EMS 
keyword set. When XYGATEAC attempted to build a command audit record 
in EMS format, an error occurred. 
XAC – Error opening new out file, 
retaining existing out file 
One of the invoke audit files defined for XYGATEAC is $0 with the EMS 
keyword set. When XYGATEAC attempted to build an invoke audit message 
in EMS format, an error occurred. 
XAC – FKEY <keyname> is not 
allowed 
The filename specified in the >OUT command could not be opened.
