Chapter 5. Collection Specifications

If you want this collection to update the Best Practices and the Customer Best

Practices automatically when the XSW Loader loads this collection, check this box.

If you want Integrity Checks to be performed automatically when the XSW Loader

loads this collection, check this box.

If you have Saved Access Maps that you want automatically updated when the

XSW Loader loads this collection, check this box.

Click Save, which will cause the Initiate button to become available.

Click Initiate to send your collection specifications to the host for scheduling.

A confirmation message that the collection was started will appear as shown

below.

If your collection is defined to be immediate (item 10 on page 97), then the job

should start immediately and be displayed in the Collection Status tab.

If your collection has been automatically set up to NetBatch (item 11 on page 97),

then it will not be displayed in the Collection Status tab until it is started.

If your collection has been refused by NetBatch for automatic addition or you used

the Manual mode or this is a MultiBatch job, you will be provided with information

to add the batch job manually. (Refer to section 5.4, “Managing Batch

Collections.”)
