5.8.5  Auto-archiving XSW datasets 
The loader will automatically archive each dataset that is loaded to the location as 
defined in the User Preferences screen (see page 47). 
Auto-archiving insures that datasets are available later, even if they have been 
recycled in the local environment. You can import an archived dataset using the View 
Dataset Status window. There is no limit to the number of archived datasets, so you 
will have to manually delete older datasets when they are no longer be needed.

If you select All Databases above, then the entire XSW set of collection and policy 
databases are preserved such that you can revert to a previous state. You can revert 
to an archived state from the Tools > Database Configurations window. Select an 
archived environment and revert to a previous state. (Refer to section 4.10.3 on 
page 86 for more information on database locations.) 
5.9  Checking the Status of a Collection and Download 
Downloading a collection has many parts. Each piece is detailed in the collection 
summary. The overall success or possible failure of a collection is shown as the icon 
on the treeview. 
Default and most recent collections appear as orange. 
Collections displayed as blue have completed successfully, but are no longer the 
default. 
A Collection displaying a red X has completed, but contains errors. Even though a 
collection may have errors, you should review the summary to determine if those
