6.6 Rule Group Maintenance Functions
The Rule Group Maintenance window is used to add a new Rule Group, copy rule
definitions from one group to another, report on the groups, manually update, and
delete groups.
To access the functions below, right-click the Rule Group name in the tree.
6.6.1 Rule Group Maintenance Buttons
Add
Adds a new Rule Group.
Delete
Deletes an existing Rule Group and will also delete all rule definitions contained
within this group.
Update
Updates the group comment or category.
Report
Causes a report to be generated that shows each rule in the group, and the
predicate of the rule.
Import
Copies a rule group and associated rules from an external database or location
into your local environment.
Copy
Copies a rule from one group to another.
Remove
Deletes a selected rule.
Send To
Sends the resultant rows that have been highlighted to an export management
screen that allows you to format the highlighted rows for a variety of output styles,
such as Microsoft Excel.
Select All
Allows the selection of all rows on the grid or unselects all rows and returns to the
previous state.
