7.5 Resolving Policy Information
Once you have created a Security Policy, you will want to research and resolve any
item that violates this policy. The usual intent of a security policy is to resolve
exceptions to the rule until the policy “passes” and has no failures. There are several
methods that you can employ to resolve policy exceptions.
7.5.1 Create an Email or Memo about a Policy Item
In some cases you will need information from another individual in your organization
before you can decide what to do with an entry that violates your Security Policy or to
have changes made on the host.
1. To send an email, select rows on the grid and click E-Mail.
The body of the email will be formatted with the identifying information from the
policy.
2. To send a Memo, select the rows you want to appear on the memo, and click
Print Memo.
A memo is generated and displayed for you to review or to send it to a printer.
