7.8  Policy Class Maintenance Functions 
To access the functions below, right-click on the Policy Class <name> on the tree. 
The Policy Class Maintenance screen is used to add a new Policy class, copy policy 
definitions from one class to another, report on the classes, manually update, and 
delete classes. 
Selecting the Policy Class Maintenance option at the Security Policy Analyzer level in 
the treeview will also give you access to this window. You may add or delete a Policy 
Class. Selected Security Policies may be copied to another Policy Class or removed 
altogether. 
Note: If you choose to remove a Policy Class, all of the Security Policies and the items 
within those Security Polices will be permanently removed. 
Add 
Allows you to add a new Policy Class. 
Delete 
Allows you to delete an existing Policy Class and will also delete all policy 
definitions/data contained within this class. 
Update 
Allows you to update the policy comment or category. 
Report 
Causes a report to be generated that shows each policy in the class, the predicate 
of the policy and the status. 
Import 
Copies a Policy class and associated policies from an external database or 
location into your local environment. 
Copy 
Copies a policy from one class to another 
Reset 
Clear and reset underlying collection for selected policies
