Chapter 8. Best Practice Policy

8.2 Reviewing Best Practices
When the dataset collected for the definition is loaded, the Best Practice database is
updated for participating nodes.
To display the Best Practice database for a node, expand the \node name under the
Best Practice header in the tree in the left pane, and expand the underlying categories
(refer to section 2.1, pages 30 and 31).
Best Practices can be viewed by a specific category or at a higher level. The
categories are provided as a way to organize Best Practices.
In the treeview right-click on the Best Practice node or category you want to review,
and select Review Results. The Best Practice list will be loaded.
You can select at different levels in the treeview of the Best Practices set. This data is
derived from the Entity field and Category field in the Best Practice definitions. The
special Category name of “All” means all categories in a specified Entity will be
displayed.
The results are displayed on function tabs as described below. Please note that the
Best Practice data on each of the tabs (Failed, Passed and Disabled) can be sorted
into different sort orders by dragging the column header into the dark gray area at the
top of the table.
