Chapter 8. Best Practice Policy
XYPRO Technology Corporation 153 Proprietary and Confidential
Recent Results The entries displayed on this tab are entries that have
been added to results because of conditions found in the
most recent host data collection that was analyzed. The
data on this tab will also be found on one of the other tabs,
whichever is appropriate to how the data changed from the
previous collection to the current collection.
Failed Results The entries displayed on this tab are items that violate the
Best Practice rule as determined by the last collection.
Entries will remain in this window until they are corrected,
updated to a different value or disabled.
Passed Results The entries displayed on this tab are items that pass the
Best Practice rule as determined by the last collection.
Disabled Results The entries displayed on this tab are items that have been
explicitly disabled. They do not participate in the evaluation
of pass or fail for a category.
Not Found Results The entries displayed on this tab are items that have been
not found in the last collection. They do not participate in
the evaluation of pass or fail for a category. Generally, the
not found condition results from defined rules where the
target system does not have the sub-system installed,
such as HP TSM-OSM or ENFORM. Each HP server can
have unique sub-systems installed and active. These are
not generally failures.
Log Entries This is a list of the log entries that have been generated by
processing of the rules and show how they may have
changes status over time.
Properties This contains two tabs for information regarding the
datasets that have been applied to this category and
maintenance functions.
