8.8 Adding New Custom Best Practices

You can create a customized Best Practice (called a CP) to perform a Best Practice

comparison on your company’s specific information.

Please note that CPs are node-specific in the same manner as the XSW supplied BPs.

1. Right-click on a node name in the Best Practices section of the tree, and select

Best Practice Rule Builder. The Best Practice Rules form will appear.

2. Select the node from the drop-down box.

3. Click Add Rule. The Site Specific Rule Template window will appear as above.

Part 1 of BP Identification is set to CP for Customer Best Practice. This cannot be

changed.

Select a value for Part 2 from the drop-down list or enter a new value. This value

will be used as part of the sorting criteria for the Best Practice display in the left

pane.
