Appendix D: XSW Host Error Messages
The XSW host module displays several types of errors that go to EMS or are visible on the
screen to a user. The following table describes these errors:

XSW; <license file location>;

EMS or terminal output of the
XSW_SYNTAX_CHECK macro
(described on page 252).
XSW has an invalid license.

XSW - Syntax Warning in
SWCONF at line
<line number> - <line>
EMS The warning is caused by
either a misspelled keyword in
the SWCONF file on the
NonStop node you are
connecting to with the GUI, or
by a new configuration option
on a non-connect node, if the
non-connect node has a newer
XSW version than the connect
node.
The warning will not stop XSW
from working, but it is
recommended that the
configuration be fixed;
otherwise, some functionality
may not be available.
