The alternate tree tab setup fields are as follows:

Tree Tab selection from the pull down list.

The node selection from the pull down list is available for System Policies only;

otherwise, the node is defaulted.

Group Options: Select a pre-existing group name from the list or create a new one.

Descriptive text can be added or updated.

Category Options: Select a pre-existing category name from the list or create a

new one. Descriptive text can be added or updated.

Report Options: Enter a new report name and options for controlling output.

Refer to “Updating Reporting Options” in section 2.3.8 on page 37.

2.3.4 Deleting Reports on Tree Tabs

You can select any alternate report on an alternate tree tab and delete the reference.

No data is deleted when you delete the alternate tree tab name. Only the reference is

deleted.

You can delete a single policy name, a group or an entire node. If you delete the tab,

then all references are automatically deleted at that time.

2.3.5 Deleting the Underlying Policy

If the underlying policy is deleted, the tree tab report(s) linked to it are also deleted.

You will get a warning if associated report(s) may be removed.

2.3.6 Updating Reports on Tree Tabs

You can select any alternate report, category or group name on the alternate tree tab

and update the name or descriptive text. You can also update an alternate report to

change the category and/or group name, which effectively moves the report to a new

category or group.

You cannot update the tab or node with the update function. (Refer to the next

section 2.3.7, “Copying Reports on Tree Tabs.”)

2.3.7 Copying Reports on Tree Tabs

You can select any alternate report, category or group name on the alternate tree tab

and copy the reports to another node, group, category or tab. This is a flexible function

to reorganize groups and/or categories or to copy groups, categories or reports to

another node or tab.
