Chapter 3. Starting Compliance PRO (XSW) the First Time

3.1 Install Database and Start the Connection Wizard
The first time you start XSW, you will be prompted to create the subdirectories where
the XSW data is stored. Click OK to start the creation.
At the end of the create operation, the line The installation of XYGATE/SW for this
user has been completed successfully will appear on the window shown on page 43.
Click Finish to continue.
Note: If you are updating an existing XSW installation, the next step will ask if you
want to convert the databases from the old installation to the new.
If you choose to upgrade, your existing collections will be converted to the
XSW <current version> database layout.
If you choose not to upgrade, you will still be able to use the old data, but none
of the new features for the current version will be available.
