Select the default date format from the drop-down list to use for reports.
Select to implement the Auto-archive function for any collection. Auto-archive
enforces that the collections generated in the XSW application are archived to a
second location. The location is defined in the next field (item 14). Archived
collections can be imported back to the current location to retrieve the data.
Datasets Only
‡
– Archives only the loaded datasets to an alternate location.
These datasets can be imported into the current environment.
All Databases
‡
- Archives the entire XSW environment to a time-stamped location.
XSW can revert to that environment for query and reporting purposes.
No - No archiving is performed
‡
Requires sufficient disk space. These archived locations are not automatically
managed by XSW. You must delete unneeded datasets or databases manually.
Remember that remote locations may require access permissions.
Select a physical location to which to save the collections. Normally, this is an
external location to the normal XSW directories, as the nature of Auto-archive is to
preserve information. (Refer to section 4.5.1, “Exported File Naming Convention”
on page 72 for more information about naming conventions.)
