4.4 Saved References for Policies

XSW allows you to assign references, priority and notification information only to a

System Policy Analyzer (page 67), Best Practice Policy (page 68), System Integrity

Checks category (page 69), Access Analysis Mapping (page 70) or alternative tab

report. These references are used to identify features of each individual policy when

reporting, emailing, and updating, etc.

Note: The above screen is representative of the fields used for this procedure. The

navigation steps and screens for each of the four categories stated above are

shown in their respective sections on the following pages starting on page 67.

Auto-Export selection (Yes or No). This feature is only available if enabled via the

Auto-export Options in the User Preferences screen shown on page 47 (items 15

to 20). If available, you can enable or disable it at the individual policy or map level.

Priority Level assignment for emails and reports.

Descriptive text can be entered for each policy.

Reference information for emails and reports (64-characters of text).

Notification will trigger an email to this person whenever the policy or map is

updated by the automatic re-loading processing of the XSW loader module.

Click Update to update the options for items 1 to 5 above.
