4.6 Send To

Selected rows or the entire grid can be exported to a file, the clipboard or formatted to

print as a report. The Send To grid button (refer to the screen image in section 4.1 on

page 61) has numerous variations and selections to allow you to format, save and print

data from the grids.

Options: Select your output type:

Copy to Clipboard saved in tab-delimited format to the clipboard for subsequent

pasting to another text window.

Save to File saves to a file in a selected format. The format is selected in the

standard MS Windows Save As dialog interface. The options are: Comma-

delimited (*.csv), WORD Document (*.doc), Excel File (*.xls), Print Definition File

(*.pdf), TAB-delimited (*.txt), Web Page (*.html), XML Database (*.xml).

Send to Printer formatted into a report as shown in Report Output later in this

section.
