Chapter 5. Using XMA_MANAGER

5.4 The Movers Management Menu
Use the XMA_MANAGER Movers Management Menu to create and manage all the
MOVER Serverclasses for a Pathway on local and remote nodes.
Enter 2 at the Main Menu Selection? prompt (page 99) to display the Movers
Management Menu shown below. Chapter 6, “Configuring MOVERs” starting on
page 109 provides more information about the various MOVER management options.
You can also use the Movers Management Menu to verify that XMA can communicate
with SNMP TRAPs, SYSLOGs, email, and EMS in order to generate any ACTIONS
that you configure in your Filters.

The Movers Management Menu option selections are described in the following table:
Option Selection Description
1: Discover Mover targets Use this option to DISCOVER all the XYGATE
products, Safeguard, EMS, BASE24, and Measure
installations residing on one or more nodes. This
option creates a command file that will be used to
automate the configuration of MOVER
Serverclasses.
2: List Use this option to display a list of all the MOVER
Serverclasses configured for one product; that is,
XYGATEAC, BASE24, or Safeguard.
