6.1.4 Changing the MOVER Type
If you wish to change a MOVERs type, use Movers Management Menu,
option 12: Alter Database params (page 101).
Note: For the new configuration to take effect, you must stop (option 6) and restart
(option 5) the Serverclass in the Movers Management Menu. If you change
parameters, you will also be prompted to stop and restart the Serverclass.
6.1.5 Tools for Managing the Different Server Types
Select Movers Management Menu, option 20: Alert-Only/Collect-Only/Regular
Movers (page 101) to manage the different MOVER types.
The following sub-menu allows you to list and start/stop MOVERs by type. In addition,
you can change the wake-uptime for the Collect-Only Serverclasses.
There is only one wake-up time per day.

6.2 Decisions to Make Before Adding Your MOVERs
Now that you have started one or more MOVERs on a single test node and are more
familiar with XMA, it is time to design your production configuration.
Do you want Alert-Only and Collect-Only MOVERs, or do you want each MOVER to do
both alert and update the database?
6.2.1 MOVER Serverclass Naming Conventions
Decide on a naming convention for your MOVERs. The name should enable you to at
least distinguish between the product audit trail the MOVER is reading and the node
where the product resides. The default naming convention is:
<3-char product code>-<node name>-<2-char sequence number>
